This post might be rather long but it is because I love this family almost as much as I love my own. Kari and I’s friendship started about 15 years ago over “Anne of Green Gables” and stawberries coated in sugar. Our husbands have endured us talking on the phone almost on a daily basis and have weathered out absolute silliness when we get together. There have been nose picking conversations (which Justin put a stop to), dancing like Mrs. Piggy in the Kinko’s parking lot, the Atlanta airport dungeon conversation, and the list goes on and on. There is not all silliness going on either because life is sometimes serious. She always leads me down the right path and is my biggest supporter in all I do (next to my hubby). I love her through and through and am so thankful for who she is! (gotta go…..the tears are coming) One last thing to the rest of the family…..You all rock…..and I mean that!

THE MANY FACES OF BOBO

Here is another little one from the Virginia farm. It took us a little while to get him asleep but when he was out he was out. I could have shot photos of him all day but this little cowboy wasn’t down for that. Thanks so much for letting me photograph your precious little 2 day old. Your family is beautiful inside and out!

This little guy was the star of my blog about three months ago when I did, or I should say WE did (his mom helped ALOT) his newborn photos. He is so sweet and HANDSOME! Thanks Melissa for being such a loyal client and a super duper good assistant. Tack on “great friend” onto all of those qualities and that makes you awesome!

This beautiful girl was so much fun to photograph. As you can see she is kind of a natural behind the camera. So pretty and easy to laughter which I think makes the best shots. Thanks so much for letting me photograph you! You are super sweet and polite just like your mom described you as.

Meet my new neice. I had to sneak one in before I finish all my senior editing. I couldn’t help myself after spending the day with her. She is as sweet as can be and has the best parents a girl could want. Sorry for just a little taste Bent and Melissa….more coming soon.

WHEW! We are back and made it! While I was there I found a house I loved and was even thinking of ways I could set up a studio. I think I even had Rob thinking he could start a cattle ranch….WHAT?…..I had to hit myself over the head (or mabey my husband did) and come back to reality. However, it is so beautiful there and life is just easy. I seriously didn’t see my kids for three days and am pretty sure they didn’t bath during that time. They had a great time just roaming with cousins. Thanks to two great families I got to meet and photograph and to my family of course who put up with us for 5 days. Townhouse crackers will never sound quite sound the same and Kmart will be setting up shop soon. Who knows, mabey we will own it. Keep checking the blog. You think JJ is handsome, wait till you see the two beautiful girls coming up.

So one of my favorite plants are Hostas. Love the texture, and color and big huge leaves. When this cute family lived down the street from us I used to drive by their house and covet her beautiful Hostas out front and I would realize that it would take mine at least 10 years to look like that. Even though I didn’t know them very well I would also from a distance watch how kind she was to everyone! She quite possibly is the sweetest person on earth. From a distance I kind of coveted that also seeing is sweet is not really a word you would use to describe me. I think I am nice but just with a little edge (ok…awnriness). Oh….Tara if more people in the world could be like you! Hope you and your fam enjoy these. Thanks for your great example!

I think I may have scared this family when I initially asked them if they were up to dangerous adventure. I found these way cool old trains a few weeks ago. When I say old, I mean the floor boards falling out old with glass all over from the windows breaking old. I love it when clients are willing. Ended up being PERFECTLY safe! If only we could have gotten the little one to crack even one smile. She is serious, but then again, who needs to smile when you are that dang cute. Thanks for being adventurous. Hope you enjoy!
