I am so itchy for green and color again which is surprising seeing is my wardrobe consists of grey, white and tan with a little levi here and there. I am going to force myself to do some more outside shooting this week even if it is 2 degrees out. I am missing it. My camera was calling my name today so here is my little one and “Eeeeffie”, my nephew. I love these little guys!

January 4, 2010 - 3:10 pm - Anytime you want practice in the 2 degree weather....I'll force my kids to stand in the snow! ha ha Any picture of them I'd love. I'm tired of seeing everyone's blog with cute nice pictures of their kids because of camera's. My camera sucks!
Oh my goodness…..this little lady kept all of us on our toes. My beautiful friend Jyllian volunteered to have me take photos of her niece for the new hats that just came in and little did we know that the girl “HATES” hats. I know that “hate” is a very strong word but totally appropriate here. She is absolutely darling and strong at the same time. I have to laugh at Jyllian and her mom’s face when I came in. I have a little girl myself that is a little strong for her age so I could totally relate to the look. It was a blast.

I love photography because by the time I am done with a shoot I feel like I got a whole world of information that I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. I get to watch closely people interact. Mabey it is because I am paying attention that I feel by the time I leave that they are people I have known longer than 30 min. I love seeing the love between family members. This was one of those shoots. …….Shawnee clearly loves….loves her baby. I had so much fun. Thanks for being willing to share!

November 18, 2009 - 9:37 am - Oh my gosh! The one with her on her belly on the cute pink rug/blanket? is so so so adorable. I love it. I'm excited to get together.
Laurel was the winner of the mini session at the beginning of October. She is a dear friend and is one of the neatest people you could meet. She is good through and through. Our kids grew up the first 5 years of their lives playing together. For awile Tate and Reannna claimed (or mabey just Tate) that they would be married one day. I can only hope because they are such cute boys. Needless to say this was a way fun session for me because I got to photograph kids that I love! The poor boys survived the cold and delivered some great images. Thanks Laurel and hope you enjoy!

During the Anderson’s Family shoot I met Jennifer who is the owner of Dottie Beck’s. As darling as she was (after I didn’t ask to use her store….oops….sorry Jen) she asked me to come back in the afternoon to get some shots of her boys. Ok for all you moms out there that totally stress out over getting the perfect outfit together and planning weeks in advance, I have to say that Jen has the right idea. Throw on something and catch them how they really are….MY FAVORITE TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY. Needless to say I left feeling like life should be more simple and that we make things way harder than they should be. Thanks Jen for allowing me to capture your family last minute. I enjoyed every minute of it!

So when I first met Jylllian and her hubby I knew they were mugs I wanted to shoot. Nine months later, I was so excited when she booked a date because I knew she would be up for anything. Jyllian just happens to be the most creative, fun girl alive and also gets major cuddos for introducing me to THE most amazing apple dip (which by the way I atribute to the 6 pounds I gained in a 3 week period). They are the most darling couple. I had a blast. The day felt like hanging with old friends. Thanks so much for the fun filled day! Thanks also to Jennifer at Dottie Beck’s who let us use her store to take these photos. It is a beautiful boutique in Old Town Eden and anyone looking for cute stuff should check it out!

My cute aunt called for family photos not long after I took Britni’s bridals. I thought she might have had enough after nearly being eaten by a horse. We seem to have some exciting thing happen at every shoot (cops and yoga man……in addition of couse to Jeff dumpster diving) Thanks and enjoy!

This shoot was booked in like 5 minutes…..by me……Kendell was so kind to let me steal her kids for a few to get some hat shots again. The Little Hat Shop is having me do some advertising work for their stores in Pikes Place Market, Seattle and Cannery Row in California. Hat lovers check it out. Thanks Kendell for getting them ready so fast. They are dolls!
